Leon H. Sullivan Foundation
About The Foundation

Advocacy

In order to preserve the legacy of Rev. Sullivan, the Foundation engages in public and government advocacy in support of the domestic and international issues that were important to him and on behalf of the organizations he created.  Although the issues range from housing and equal employment rights in the Unite States to a system of fair international trade for Africa, like the Reverend, the Foundation has one bottom line objective: to give a voice to those who are locally, nationally or internationally marginalized.

Sullivan Entities

While the Foundation is one of many Sullivan organizations, its ability to conduct government advocacy allow it to represent the interests of OICA, OICI and IFESH in Washington.  The Foundation encourages national and international policies favored by the other organizations, advocates on their behalf in Congress, and supports their capacity- building efforts with reference to the federal government.
